Amos Taman is the Owner, President and Chief Executive Officer of VeriFone Transportation System, Inc.
Because of Amos Taman, in 1987, New York City taxis began to install equipment allowing passengers to use credit cards to pay their fares. This made life so much easier to take a taxi ride around the city. Especially those who used the taxis for business travel and never seemed to have cash on them.

Amos Taman saw how the word was getting around that he had a system available for taxis to accept credit cards and he began having other cities looking to obtain the same system.

Amos Taman’s idea is a great help especially in this economy and with the increase of crime around us. People do not like to carry cash.

Last evening I was elected onto the condo homeowners association board where I live. First, on our agenda will be to replace our current property management group. It is our job to research other management groups in our area to find who would be a good fit and would be looking out  for the best interest of our entire community.

A good fit for us would be Tim Arel and North Point Property Management, L.L.C. Group. They are not in my area, but, have the vast experience and knowledge we are looking for. Tim Arel brings with him a vast amount of knowledge and experience and that is what we would be looking for.

Tim Arel  comes to the organization with both a legal and economics background.

Doing a search  today for different kinds of African music, I came up on a  person that really seems to enjoy the many different African music styles, and his name is Joseph Odindo. Until I came  up upon this site, I was not aware there were so many different styles dependent of  the region of Africa people came from.

Joseph Odindo expresses that some of the musical genres of northern and northeastern Africa, and the Islands off East Africa share both the traditional African and Middle eastern traditions. Joseph Odindo also expressed that when the Africans moved around the countries, they brought their music with them. The African music and dance forms along with the Caribbean and Latin American music genres like the rumba and the salsa were founded  by the African slaves.
